Feel free to send a line, ask a question, or have me call you for input or insight. Clothesnet.com has helped a lot of small retailers get their first sale and enhanced their sites. Then again, sometimes people call just to ask what I think (thoughts are free). Some of the calls I have received:
One evening at Dinner-time one of the editors from Monster.com (I was a small business contact) called to interview a rural developer, Website owner, and Director of Marketing... hmmm (while chewing on some smoked porkchops) Hey! thats me!
Chicago, called right after we switched from selling apparel to the 'Mall' format. That was a great call... thanks Michelle!
Several years ago, I was called one evening from a 'large' apparel distributer in New York City, No name mentioned here... (xx xxxx'x Bay) they just sell to all the large department stores... Here the conversation: (me) Hello, (them) Is this Clothesnet.com, (me) Yes, this is Larry, How can I help you? (them) Well I was told to call you... (me) hmmm, you were told to call me? (them) Yes, our CEO just got back from the apparel convention downtown and said 'call Clothesnet.com' (me) Well, what can I help you with? (them) I don't know he's not here yet...
Come to find out they wanted to know the most effective way to go online with wide distribution of their apparel and how to handle orders and distribution of products. They also wanted us to help be their 'vehicle'... needless to say, Clothesnet is no ones vehicle... its one large family bus!
